Within the framework of the “Local works support to Areni consolidated community in Armenia” program, we continue working with Working Groups to develop new community development projects and implement already developed projects.
One of such projects was the installation of an LED screen in the Areni community’s Rind settlement, the goal of which is the more transparent and accountable implementation of the local government’s work, as the meetings of the council of elderly of the Areni community, community news and participation opportunities will be broadcast regularly, not forgetting the entertainment, events and festivals of the community residents. .
We visited the Rind community with the partner of USAID (US Agency for International Development), to make sure that the installation and operation of the screen meets environmental standards.
