The goal of the “Local works support to Areni consolidated community in Armenia” project is the economic and political empowerment of the community, and we consider the promotion of participatory processes among the population, their education and motivation to participate in the management of the community to be one of the most important components to achieve them.
This vision is also shared by Areni conslodiadted community, which is one of the communities that this year voluntarily joined the number of communities implementing Participatory Budgeting (PB).
ADC NGO supported the community in the process of informing the population about PB, educated and motivated young people to approach the community with community development ideas.
On September 18, the NGO initiated a public discussion (town hall), the purpose of which was the presentation of the proposed programs, awareness about voting and technical support, so that as many residents as possible had the opportunity to vote.
